A graduate of Alexandria Technical College, Alexandria, MN, with a Computer Programming degree in 1972, Merle began his career at a hospital in Fargo, where he was eventually promoted to Director of Information Services and spent 30 years. Merle started with Allegiance in June of 2002. Besides Fundraising Software Support, he also has primary responsibility for the AS/400 native programs and servers. He is married with two sons, both attending college. Merle enjoys the relaxed work environment at Allegiance and after working in the health care industry, not being on call 24/7 is a real joy.
